Bio Fact: Brook believes it takes a real country boy to win on Mantracker! He thinks like a cowboy and claims to know where horses can and cannot go. Brook and his pro hockey star brother, Shane, grew up on the family farm, helping to run Youth camps in the summer.

Melanie Francouer-Sauriol

Bio Fact: Inspired and driven to be on Mantracker, Mel took a taunt from her son and made her dream come true! She’s got a great sense of humor and an even better outlook on life. Mel doesn’t need any formal survival training, her lumberjack husband is sending her to train at his outdoor bootcamp.

Bio Fact: This fearless, outgoing, multi-lingual wrestler has three University degrees but claims to be self -taught in the wilderness. He has a great sense of direction and reads maps at a very high level, because he’s tall. Sounds like partner Mel has nothing to worry about!

Alex Blais

Bio Fact: Of course a medical student with two kids would be afraid of waking up to no espresso in the morning! To keep fit, he bikes 15-20kms to work everyday. Alex has a “mild” Type-A personality and can be hard on himself, tough on others and might have a little habit of thinking he’s always right.

Dion Whyte

Occupation: Sustainable Services Manager

Bio Fact: Dion thinks he’s always right, too. We smell trouble! But, since Dion claims to be a problem solver, this pair could have a chance at winning the chase. Dion has climbed many of the Rockie’s peaks and has completed 70% of the Bruce Trail, which involved 3.5 weeks of wilderness travel.

Jesse Lumsden

Bio Fact: Picture this: flying down an ice track at 152 km/h in nothing but spandex and a helmet! Jesse needs to be the best at whatever he does. He’s scored touchdowns for both the CFL and the NFL and competed in the Olympics. Being competitive is both Jesse’s best and worst quality.

Bio Fact: It’s been 10 years since Justin has slept in the wilderness. He grew up in Hawaii and basically lived off the land until he was 14. Justin and his fellow Olympian Team Mate Jesse, might be fast on ice, but are they fast enough to stay out of Mantracker’s reach?

Bio Fact: Jen? Amiee? No your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you, Amiee and Jen are Identical twins and claim this could be their secret weapon against Mantracker. Canyoning in Switzerland and sky diving in Australia are a couple things Jennifer has ticked off her bucket list.

David “Rusty” Ellison

Bio Fact: Although Rusty may seem unapproachable and intimidating when you first meet him, he’s the hardest working dairy farmer around. He might not have any survival training but he did survive rafting down the Nile River! In his spare time, you can find Rusty participating in tractor pulls, playing baseball, hockey and squash and hanging with his family.

Matthew “Klumpy” Klumpenhouwer

Bio Fact: Nothing is off limits when it comes to Klumpy, EXCEPT for RATS!! Dreams of being “chewed while sleeping” haunt this Workplace Safety Inspector. His favorite movie is The Princess Bride and just like his life long friend Rusty, Klumpy doesn’t have any survival training but did spend a week in Algonquin….that counts, right?

Priscilla Sullivan

Bio Fact: Priscilla is a fitness junkie, she weight trains and jogs five miles, two to three times a week! She’s intelligent, persistent and even stubborn at times. Although Priscilla doesn’t trust pickles or horses, she’s ridden a horse though the Jamaican Jungle.

Colt Sullivan

Bio Fact: Colt and Priscilla have been together since the 9th grade! He’s loyal, humorous but maybe just a little too over confident. He’s afraid of not being successful at anything and everything. Colt will give Mantracker a run for his money; he’s in phase two of the FBI special agent selection process! Oh, was that a secret?

Bio Fact: No stranger to the wild, motorcycle enthusiast Robert has photographed “big ass bears” in Alaska from only 70 feet away. Robert is hip, well read and reliable. According to friends, Robert has been known to be a micro manager. We should see what Mike has to say about that.

Bio Fact: When he’s not saving lives he’s keeping fit by cycling, running, weightlifting, playing tennis, skiing and snow-shoeing. We hate him already. Mike prefers positive conversation and steers clear of complainers, whiners and bashers. Unlike his friend Robert, Mike is terrified of public speaking.

Bio Fact: You can find “Marrying Margriet” at the top of Warren’s accomplishment list along with his volunteer work as a Special Olympics Coach, Warren totally commits to whatever he does. He is afraid of nothing except things hiding under his bed.

Bio Fact: Doctor Margriet is kind, compassionate and up for any type of adventure, including living in Nigeria for 3 months when she was 19. (And, hey, she married Warren) She’s hiked the West Coast Trail, twice! Margriet took a “wilderness medicine” course but that was a long, long, long time ago. So don’t anybody call for a doctor on this chase.
